Dorothy in Catland is a miniature handicraft workshop that was created thanks to dreams. It is fill up with a passion and creativity.
Welcome! My name is Dorothy and I make a hand-craft items in my Dorothy in Catland workshop. I love this moments when I can create something. The process of creation is like magic that surrounds you and fill you up with joy and happiness. I have always been found of the DIY ideas. I felt that inner need for creating something, changing the exiting things and experimenting. For me it was just a matter of time to do it full time and I can say without any hesitation that it was the best decision in my life.
MY AFFAIRS
I love cats. The companionship of my bellowed cats fills me up with endless joy. This is also the theme of my company, so far hidden only in the name of it. These animas always appear nearby my workshop in order to purr and lay down in a warm sunlight. Each of them need to be carefully pet and cuddled. Yes, I know… I am crazy about cats ^^
I gain my inner strength from the nature. My dream is to have a cottage next to the wood… oh.. is so wonderful to have dreams.
During my life journey, I keep discovering magic hidden in places and people. This magic can be everywhere and it can appears differently.
I love the art that shows the nature. I have always admired people who have talents for expressing it.
All of these mentioned above, inspire me for crating. Even more, it makes me want to insert a piece of myself into the things that I design. It makes me fulfilled, happy and I truly wish everyone to find a passion like this in their lives. This passion puts wings on my back and makes me want to fly! The things that I create are imbued with my soul and my inclination. The work that I create is a perfect combination of love, magic, nature, fairy tale and the appreciation of beauty…
QUALITY
I put a lot of effort to the quality of things that I produce. I ensure that they are beautiful, well-made and solid. I put all my heart into my work. The intuitional creation is giving me a plenty of joy that grows on their strength when I look at the effect of my work. All the little pieces of ideas and visions that I have in my head are becoming the reality. Each of the items has their own unique energy. They are very special… for me. All of these have on me even more positive impact when I receive the words of your appreciation. This is very nice and motivates me to create even more. Thank you!
SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE
During the process of achieving my goals, my family is an unspoken support for me. My dad who used to be a carpenter helps me selflessly with creating wooden items. He has the rare ability for creating something from nothing. Oldschool graphics that I insert on my items are designed by my brother who can perfectly put into reality all my visions and dreams. I cannot forget about my mum who is taking care about our house and makes it warm and familial. I would like to thank me family for everything!
