I allow myself a very slow pace of everyday life. I balance my work in the studio with rest and delight in nature.
I love spending hot days lying in the shade of the walnut trees with my beloved kittens Pixel and Fred.
Cats know what’s best. Because from a cat’s perspective, even heat can be very bearable and pleasant. Coolness at the level of the ground and grass, shade, a light breeze… Around some flying bugs, butterflies and ants wandering around me from time to time :D I don’t forbid it, they are gentle if we don’t threaten them. Birds hurriedly flit among the branches: a robin, a tit….
I love these wonderful, delicate rays of sunlight breaking through the thickets of leaves here and there.
The cats are sleeping soundly because they feel the safety of my presence. Idyllic and magical.
The wasps also found out that we have a perfect spot here, they flew down to feast on an apple core. It was a delicious juicy “Papierówka” picked straight from the tree, aromatic, only slightly sour, crisp and delicious. It’s a taste of childhood, when an ordinary apple found under any tree brought joy and satiety.
I read a few inspiring verses… I close my eyes… The quintessence of peace… around me and within me.
