The construction of this picture brings us back to the time of rural, farming style, where simplicity and aesthetic were a key.

 

WHY SHOULD I HAVE THIS PICTURE?

This painting with red moth can be an amazing way how to decorate your walls. It is a view of the nature through old-school tattoo. This wall art – wall decoration with yellow moth will look perfectly in your home.

 

REALISATION

The painting was made of a few boards that were carefully fitted to two bars. My dad assisted me with the most difficult phases as he always does.

I painted this wall decor in light brown colour and by using the decoupage technique I applied on the wood a beautiful, big design of moth in yellow. The moth was designed by my brother Chris Rat Tattooer. In order to add to the drawing a bit of elegance and charm the edges were pained in black. The whole item was lacquered a few times.

 

DETAILS

There is an ordinary string used to hang this drawing on the wall, however if you wish so you can exchanged the existing one for whatever colour you like. Just remember that the new string should have similar thickness to the original one.

The unique beauty and charm is added to this wall décor by natural marks such as irregular growth rings and knots. I believe that the ability to shown the unspoiled beauty existing in the nature is fantastic part of every wooden project.
