2025-02-02

Ah, these extreme emotions of mine after 2024. I had a deeply tangled spring, an utterly divine summer, and oh… those abysses of a sorrowful autumn… If only this sadness could dissolve, just like the mist… fading under the sharp power of the sun’s rays. Well, it probably will… but slower, longer, almost imperceptibly, I suppose…
The loss of a friend, a companion who had been with me for the past four years—his departure from my life struck me immensely. Because when he was still here… only sleep could keep him from constantly following me. My beloved cat, Fredziu, my “Black Sun,” as I used to call him, remains forever in my heart. And I miss him so much…

I tend to generalize that men are often “unbeatable”—they usually push toward their goals with determination, overcoming obstacles and trudging forward despite all hardships. Oh, but with me, it’s different. There are events that log me out of life, make me lose discipline, and I drift into the abyss of incapacity.

Yet I am aware of something obvious, something that was once absent in my life. Deep inside, I feel endless reserves of enthusiasm, joy, happiness, and fire stirring within me. It’s just like Earth shrouded in mist—it may seem cloaked in darkness, with little visibility, but all it takes is a moment, the right “spark,” like the sun’s rays, to reveal all its goodness and unfold its beauty and power. And that’s exactly how I feel. Because in the place where I live, autumn 2024 was exceptionally misty—just like my emotions.

And the days are passing like crazy. 2025 has arrived, and I’m slowly creating new small batches of wooden boxes, sewing hearts, and navigating through paperwork. Recently, I had an extraordinary experience that slightly shook me out of my lethargy. A strange encounter with an unknown person, and that deep gaze into their eyes… it lightly shook my soul—it was like a silent… alarm clock… I felt a sudden daze, as if I had awakened from a long slumber, gaining clarity and sharpness. Oh, it was so magical and fleeting…
Sometimes, all it takes is what seems like a micro-impulse to take a deep breath of fresh air. As one of my favorite recently discovered positive beings, the wonderful Anitka Lipko, says, “Today is the most beautiful day of our lives because it is today.”
